Randy Woods is a multi-discipline audio all-rounder who brings decades of experience to every job. His wealth of experience with projects of different sizes, in different locations, with different demands means he can adapt to any environment and deliver exceptional quality to every client he works with. Whether it's the unpredictable world of paramedic response, the high-paced nature of live sports, or the precise and detailed arena or TV and film, Randy can bring his experience to bear and get the job done. On top of all this, after many years working with so many different types of people in different types of industries, Randy's communication skills and personality make him an instant fit in any crew.
In addition to being a seasoned veteran of the audio engineering world, Randy is a songwriter and score composer and is also a well-loved performer and an award-winning producer, engineer, and recording musician who has produced albums through his own studio for a wide array of artists including his current project, the Randy Woods Band. Whether it’s iconic Canadian rockers, The Northern Pikes, the internationally renowned Sheepdogs, national treasure Jay Semko, or local acts such as Oral Fuentes, September Long and Ray Whitton, Randy uses his experience and talent to inspire and improve the artists he works with.
Randy is incredibly proud of his Métis heritage and has worked on several projects involving First Nations studios and projects.
